When will I receive confirmation of my registration?

Confirmation of your registration will be sent to the participants e-mail address. You will receive an email that contains link to a PDF format registration confirmation. If you fail to receive the confirmation during the 24 hours after registration and you cannot find it in your spam or junk mail folder, please contact us via e-mail at support@trenkturas.com.

What should I do if I did not receive confirmation of my registration or lost it?

What should I do if I fail to pay the registration fee using an overseas bank account?

Contact us via e-mail at support@trenkturas.com and we will find a payment method that works for you.

Are there any discounts for the registration?

Yes. During the registration you have the option to choose a 20 % discount for students, the elderly and people with disabilities or a 50 % discount for children up to 6 years of age. We kindly remind you, that during the event, you will be asked to provide the documents, that ratify your right to the discount.

Are there any discounts for students?

Unfortunately, no. Discounts are only applicable to pupils up to 18 years of age with a valid pupil identity card.

Can children participate in the even free of charge?

Children up to 6 years of age can participate in the event without registration, in other words for free, as long as it is with their parents. If you desire for your child to receive the starting package, snacks, a diploma, a medal and other services, the pupil has to be registered for the hike.

Children up to 6 years of age are entitled to a 50 % discount during the registration.

Why is it important to fill out the registration form correctly?

On the day of the event, participants will be registered according to the information that was provided in the registration form. If the information does not match up, you will be asked to present an ID.
We will also be sending you relevant information about preparation for the walk via the e-mail address that was provided during the registration and, if such a necessity arises, we will contact you via mobile phone during the event.

Is it possible to receive an invoice for the purchased tickets and, if so, how can this be done?

Yes, it is possible. Please contact us via e-mail at support@trenkturas.com , providing your order number, information of the physical or juridical person and the sum total of the order.

Can I receive the prepayment invoice for my company teams’ registration?

Of course, please contact us via email info@trenkturas.lt prior to your registration with your contact information and the number of team members for each different route.

Will the participant’s fee increase?

Yes, it will increase as the event draws nearer. We will inform the participants about it in advance via the web page of the walk, the event page on Facebook and the newsletter.

Can the registration be terminated?

Yes, the registration can be terminated due to an excessive amount of participants – if this happens, we will inform you about it in advance via the web page of the walk, the event page on Facebook and the newsletter.

Can I sign up for the walk on the spot on the day of the event?

First of all, the participant’s fee will have increased significantly by the time of the event. Secondly, as the previous walk has shown, the registration can be terminated in advance if the maximum number of participants is reached.

Do I have to provide a printed version of confirmation of my registration (ticket) in order to receive a starter pack, or is a mobile version enough?

You don’t have to have a printed ticket in order to participate in the event. We will scan the ticket’s QR code, and an electronic version in your mobile phone is enough for that. However, you should make sure that the battery of your mobile phone is charged.

I cannot (do not want to) participate in the walk anymore. Can I get my participant’s fee back?

We do not offer refunds of the participant’s fee, but you can sell your registration, transfer it to a different person or give it as a gift. If you decide to do that, inform us about it via e-mail at pagalba@trenkturas.lt, providing your ticket or order number, the chosen route and the personal information (name, surname, e-mail address) of the participant whose information will be changed. You should also provide correct personal information (name, surname, e-mail address, mobile phone number, city, date of birth and the name of his/her team if he/she belongs to one) of the new participant. We would like to remind you that, by transferring the registration to a different person, the participant agrees to introduce the person to the rules of the walk, while the new participant agrees to abide by them.

How do I change the participant information after transferring my registration?

Upon registering for the hike, the confirmation of registration PDF and personal link to the registration management area of every registered participant is sent to the payer’s email. After clicking the link, you will redirected to your personal registration management area, where you will be able to modify all of your participant information, apart from the chosen route and the price type. Keep in mind, that when transferring your registration, it is vital to not only change the name and surname of the participant, but all participant information with their contact information.
If you are transferring your registration to an unknown person, we recommend to anonymise your data to ensure the safety of your personal information.

How can I get to the registration management area?

The registration management area is only accessible to participants with the confirmation of registration email (this email is sent to the person, whose email was provided as the payer’s email during the registration). The email contains the confirmation of registration PDF and a personal link, which will direct to the registration management area.

How to reach the registration management area if we registered as a group?
Regardless of the number of participants registered at one time, the confirmations of registrations PDF and personal links to the registration management area will be sent to the payer’s email. The links to the registration management area are unique to every participant, thus the payer can send each participant their own link.

What if I cannot find the registration confirmation email?

The registration confirmation email is sent to the person, whose email was provided as the payer’s email. If you cannot find the email after checking your Inbox, Spam and Junk areas, please contact us via email support@trenkturas.lt and we will resend the registration confirmation email.

What should I do if I decided to buy some hike add-ons only after having registered for the event?

This link will direct you to the area, where you will be able to modify the participant information and choose additional add-ons for your registration. Will I need to pay for changes to my add-ons list?

If the overall price of the chosen add-ons is lower or equal to the value foregone add-ons, you will not need to pay for the changes to the add-ons list. If the overall price of the chosen add-ons is greater than the value of the foregone add-ons, you will required to pay for the difference in prices.

Is there a limit to how many times the participant information can be edited?

No, the participant information and add-ons list can be edited an unlimited amount of times.

Can I change the price type?

The price type for the registration can only be changed on the day of the event when claiming your starting package. You will be asked to cover the price difference, meaning that if you change the price with 20% discount to a regular price, you will be asked to pay the 20% difference based on the price during the time of purchase, thus you will not be subject to the increase of the registration fee.

If I cannot participate in the walk anymore, or if I would like to transfer or sell my registration (ticket), can I post about it on your Facebook event page?

Yes, you can do that, but you should find the post which is dedicated to discussions or swapping registrations, and do that there.

When and where will I receive merchandise bought?

Merchandise items are a part of the participants starter pack, therefore they will be ready for collection on the day of event.

No, it is not necessary. The walk is, first and foremost, an individual challenge, so every participant who conquers the chosen route will receive a personal diploma and a medal. Team challenge is an additional option for those of you who would like to walk as a group, represent a company or a club and compete while trying to walk the longest distance.
The teams who walk the most kilometres will receive special prizes.

How should I register if I am the accompanying teacher?

Teacher registration works by email Edgaras@TrenkTuras.lt. Please provide us with the exact team name, the official number of students in the class as well as your contact information (name, surname, school name, class and phone number).

How will the official participants of the walk be identified during the event?

Participants will wear control bracelets of their chosen route – they will be checked at the starting line, at leisure and help posts and at the finish line. Only official participants will be entitled to receive food, tea, drinking water, transportation back to the start/finish area in case of cutting the walk short, diplomas of the chosen route, medals in the case of conquering the whole route and other services.

Will the duration of successful walks be measured?

The duration of your chosen walk will not be measured. The goal of the event is not to walk as fast as possible, but rather to enjoy the walking, the sea and the good company.
If you are trying to set a personal record or wish to compare your results to those of your friends, we suggest measuring the duration of your walk by your own means.

Is there a time limit for reaching the finish line of my chosen route?

There are no exact time limits – however, every participant should decide what time he or she should start walking and how fast he or she should walk in order to be able to reach all of the leisure and help posts during their working hours and reach the finish line in time. You can find the starting and finishing time frames for every route here; the working hours of leisure and help posts will be noted in your participant’s passport, which you will receive together with your starter pack on the day of the event.
